Sundae Movie Night
We
join together on the 3rd Sunday of the month throughout the summer at 6:30 p.m. to view a movie, eat popcorn and
then discuss the movie over ice cream. Recent movies have included: Jesus Christ
Superstar, Godspell, Bruce Almighty, Hotel Rwanda, and The Five People you Meet in Heaven.
German Heritage Dinner
Typically
takes place the third week in October. We gather to celebrate and remember the
saints who have gone before us who have shared the faith with us. This meal takes
place after worship and we enjoy pork chops, sauerkraut, potatoes and bread.
Thankoffering Dinner
The women
of the church join together in an amazing potluck that celebrates the spirit of giving.
On this day, we also collect the offering we have set aside for local and international social service organizations. We typically hold this dinner on the Sunday before Thanksgiving after worship.
