“I am” Statements of Jesus

Whether they are visible or not, there are a number of hats women wear throughout a lifetime.  We begin with a daughter’s hat.  We might also put on a sister’s hat, an aunt’s hat, a wife’s hat, or a mother and grandmother’s hat.  Some of the hats we wear at the same time as we care for our family, working inside and outside the home.  With each hat that we put on and take off we may wonder, who am I, really?  We know, we trust, that at the center of our being, we are children of God, and yet we still wrestle with our identity and the different hats we wear.  Our Women’s Bible Study this year will focus on who Jesus says he is in the Gospel of John.  We will read and reflect on eight of Jesus’ “I am” statements.  Each will help us explore a little more about the different hats Jesus wore throughout his ministry as we come to know him as savior and Lord.  We hope to grow in our faith in Christ and in our identity as a child of God.

A Study of Exodus

Join us for a light breakfast and Bible Study.  This year, we will explore how God heard the cry of God’s people, sent them a leader, and brought them out of slavery.  We will journey with the Israelites as they wander in the wilderness, and we will see how God provides for their needs.  Join us on this journey of faith!
